New York City Repent and Witness 08

I finally got my camera and computer to communicate with each other, so we can upload this video from our Repent and Witness missions trip to New York City.

This is Kevin Nunez, Preaching at Times Square. 100,000 people cross that street every day. It is a great place to preach.

I took my turn, observe the newscast behind me. I was able to weave current events into a Gospel presentation.

Then, we went for a ride on the Staten Island Ferry and interviewed some students who were there for a missions trip. I had to ask about evangelism.

This was a character who interrupted our open air preaching on the subway. On the third video, I got kind of fired up and very demonstrative, and the police came. Our evolutionist friend ran away, and I was told to calm down, and I did. There was a crowd drawn, so I preached to the crowd. Don’t follow my example and get too emotionally fired up.

After all that craziness, we had a great crowd. This was the message that God gave me to preach. I was able to tone down my voice to a level acceptable by the police, and the configuration of the room gave great amplification. Praise God!

Later on, at Union Square Park, we were able to draw a crowd of well over 200 people. This was a wonderful opportunity to preach the gospel for everyone who was there. Many spent time in one to ones, prayer booth ministry, open air preaching, and distributing tracts.

This was a great trip, and I have many more videos that I am uploading and I hope to share. If you are a college student, and you want to learn to evangelize and be equipped to train others, contact Tiffany at Change Collegian Network
